Snail Mail

As I was perusing RFID news this morning I came across an interesting post from the RFID Weblog. It’s almost a month old, so I guess you could say I am slow – sluggish, snail-like even – on the pickup.
Snails are being used for delivering messages across short distances coupled with waterproof RFID tags attached to their shells…as the snail comes within the range of another reader, the message is read and transmitted and another message is collected from the queue for delivery.
Mosey on over to the RFID Weblog for more details.
