RFID Blood Tracking

Patient safety is of chief concern during blood transfusions. Thanks to RFID, plans have been set in motion to better monitor blood transfusions from vein to vein through the use of an Electronic Clinical Transfusion Management System.

The system will cover blood products from initial ordering all of the way through administration of the blood transfusion.
