Thanks to RFID, the Digital Defense Group has been able to integrate a long-range personnel card to transmit long-range, biometrically activated digital certificates which enable the highest level of security.

The AXCESS ActiveTag RFID credential has been integrated with the solution to provide the wireless signal. The system is based on battery-powered “active” RFID technology in which wireless tabs use on-board power sources to transmit signals from up to 100 meters to identify, track, monitor and protect people, assets and vehicles. The IronGate biocard offers a patented algorithm which generates a high security credential, in addition to using the Wiegand protocol, for added security.
