Company making 'RFID for the real world' gets some real cash

In this item from EETimes, writer Dylan McGrath notes: RFID supplier Intelleflex Corp. said Wednesday (Aug. 9) it has closed a $15.5 million round of Series B venture funding. That's on top of a round one investment of $11.3 million it raised in August 2004. They must be up to something good? Using first round money, the article says Intelleflex built the industry's first fully integrated multi-protocol EPC-compliant RFID single chip IC. Note that the money came from some blue chip venture capitalists, too, led by Morgenthaler Ventures.
