Here's a fascinating fictional account from CMP's PersonalTechPipeline that attempts to predict how biometrics, 3D and RFID will dramatically alter business travel in the not too distant future. Unfortunately, it does say business travel will always have to happen. The good news is that business travel will likely be less tedious in the future.
