'Alien Watch?'

Here on Business Week's Deal Flow blog is an item entitled 'Alien Watch, Day Two.' For some reason lots of ordinary people seem extraordinarily interested in this un-deal... the IPO that couldn't or wouldn't. Alien got as far as getting a choice ticker symbol but no up tick in genuine investor interest or, as they say, the timing isn't right or the market isn't ready or... well, there is that minor issue about whether or not there have been any signs of life in its financials or any ability to predict its future sales. Maybe 2001 did teach people a few things?
