This is So Money

Swiped out: Why cash faces extinction... That's the headline on this piece from Sunday's Scotland Herald.
The concept of a cashless society interests me because someone told me once that millionaires were people who carry no keys and no money. They don't have to. They have people to drive them around and someone at home to open the door, etc. So when this cashless thing happens, it's going to make me feel so money. How about you?
“Special Branch and the security services must be rubbing their hands together in glee at the thought of a cashless society. It would be the ultimate in double-entry book-keeping, providing a complete auditable trail from end to end and making many crimes virtually impossible,” says Peter Dorrington, fraud programme manager at IT consultancy SAS Institute.
