Bray (Bré or Brí Chulainn in Irish) is a former seaside resort in north County Wicklow, Ireland.
Known as the Gateway to the Garden of Ireland, it is positioned in northeast Wicklow, just south of Dublin. The name of the town means "hill, rising ground". Bray is the eighth largest town in Ireland with a population of 28,002 inhabitants, as at the 2002 Census.
