'From Tags to Riches...'

Nice headline on this piece but the story has two problems. One, it says RFID has turned out to be a bust. Then in explaining the story, a countless number of success stories are presented. How's this happen? Sometimes it's because the article writer is not the headline writer. Both seemed to do a good job with their repective roles in this case but unfortunately in opposite directions.

On the one hand,

...in spite all the interest and attention, radio frequency ID (RFID) technology is seemingly failing to take off.

and on the other...

There is no doubt that the technology has very strong potential, especially because of its ability to track items in real time...

Hey, make up my mind.
