RFID on Dogs, No Way... On People, No Problem say NZ Farmers

Farmer lobbyists are raising a stink about plans to microchip their dogs from next month, but there have been no complaints about people being "tagged" with the same technology...

That's from this news piece out of New Zealand about an upcoming agricultural fair at which thousands of farmers have eagerly volunteered to wear RFID id tags around their necks. By visiting various exhibits where their presence is detected via RFID, these otherwise anti-RFID people can win prizes.
