Missinformation from 'Right Thinking Girl.'

No, that's not a typo in the headline. I know how to spell misinformation. But this blog provider, in a post entitled 'Bag em, Tag Em, Track em' doesn't seem to be very familiar with the practical limits of ordinary RFID implants. She's backing a notion that we implant an RFID chip into every immigrant, alien, guest-worker, etc., so we'll always know where they are and what they're up to. Ya, ok! Good thinking.

Let me not beat around the bush: I am a big fan of this crazy idea, writes the Right Thinking Girl (RTG). She continues:

The CEO of Applied Digital has suggested implanting his RFID chips into the arms of registered aliens to address immigration issues, such as the ‘guest worker’ program. Well, that's true. Yes he did... on Fox News... and his comments have been the source of tremendous criticism from practically every quarter ever since. Ironically, RTG here used an eWeek piece as a source and in that piece eWeek leveled a withering analysis of 'this crazy idea.' She concludes:

...it’s a great way to know where they are and what they’re doing.

No, it's not!
