NH Senators Kill The Bill

The Federal Real ID Act may yet come to New Hampshire which is one of a few states leading the nation in following a somewhat iffy logic about RFID and people's privacy. For the record, we're all for people's privacy, but happen to think it's likely RFID will improve identity protections and such.
Anyway, as you can see here, the New Hampshire senate did what all great legislative bodies do when they don't want to pass something but don't want to be in the hot seat either for voting something down. Borrowing a chapter from 'Profiles of Timidity,' they're establishing a commission to study the question. 'Commission' is lawmaker-speak for endless do loop, or better yet, endless never-do-anything-too-rash loop.
