A Little Over the Top from Down Under?

Here's an example of how lousy news begets more lousy news as bad reporting gets re-reported in this day and age virtually overnight. However, before I get too critical, this isn't a horrendous case and, in fact, this blog site may be one worth visiting from time to time. The author of it, Peter Timmins, sounds like a reasonable person.

But you'll note he is referencing that Department of Homeland Security (DHS) report featured here last week... the one in which only vague assertions are made. Yet, because it comes from DHS, it carries weight even though is intellectual heft was light.
