NASDAQ:RFID? Can Alien Get That Ticker Symbol?

Alien Technology Corp. said Thursday it plans an initial public offering of up to $138 million.
The company said in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission that it is seeking a Nasdaq symbol of RFID.

That must be possible, but I'm betting it's going to make a lot of people in the industry feel like they are walking around with a rock in their shoe.
