Is Equine Law When Two Horses Sue Eachother?

Equine law? I raise the subject because in this article about the Agriculture Department's plan to tag all livestock, the most vociferous negative comments come from a Pennsylvania attorney who specializes in equine law. I don't know if that means she knows anything about cows and chickens or anything about RFID for that matter... her thing seems to be about anyone who makes money selling a new technology. And never mind what it costs to destroy whole herds.

From our featured attorney in this Wired article comes this statement:

"This will rake in huge profits for the RFID industry," said Cheryl J. Allerton... a critic of the pending regulations.

And? Your point? Do your horses or their owners not pay you, Ms. Allerton?

Notice too in this piece that even though it features a livestock plan, the same old same old privacy story gets placed in it near the top. Darn, even the poor cows aren't going to have their little secrets anymore.
