What Do RFID Fanatics Do with Free Time on the Weekends?

Here's a handy how-to guide for installing RFID access on your front door at home. For an explanation of why you might want to spend your free time doing this, well, please consult your inner child? But hey, why not? It's only a matter of time. And if this isn't a way to get a jump on the Joneses next door, I don't know what is.
My favorite part of this whole story is the parts list:
Parts List
Two general purpose circuit boards, Radio Shack part number 276-148a
A 5v reed relay, Radio Shack part number 275-232
A 5v DPST or DPDT relay from Digi-Key
An electronic door strike that fits your doorframe from The Keyless Lock Store
Phidgets USB RFID Reader from Phidgets USA.com
Plastic project box from Circuit Specialists, part number PB-3P
A Kwikset Powerbolt 1000 electronic keypad deadbolt
Total cost in parts and labor for this effort? Unknown. Value of knowing you're the only one on your block with a RFID-enabled front door? Priceless.
