German Chancellor, Angela Merkel is pushing a shopping cart through an electronic supermarket checkout stand demo for RFID Frequency from the German METRO Group. Imagine the possibilities of this technology! No more strategically planning your weekly grocery shopping trip in accordance to when the store is least empty. Forget the Saturday morning shopping-trip headaches or the 10 person deep lines extending down each isle from the checkout stands. Oh the possibilites! The only objectors to this new technology might be the kiddies, who we all know have mastered the "candy-beg-jig" when it comes time for checkout. No time for that anymore, no no!
