Final Day - Show Wrap Up

Last day of the show - everyone is giving away their promotional materials so that they dont have to ship them back to their offices. Our own Mike Ward who is the manager of our professional services group, has gathered many toy footballs, race cars and stuffed animals for his kids - what are these companies thinking - who is their target audience 4 year olds? Anyway, Loftware jumped on the giveaway bandwagon, but made its patrons work for it. We are doing a survey to find out what people are using RFID for, what type of tags they are using and readers, etc. However, our promotional item is a useful encode/decode RFID calculator that allows you generate the HEX value of the EPC code, or verify, or the calculator will generate this value for you. This comes on a 64 bit USB drive - certainly not the best toy for a 4 year old, at least not any 4 year old that I know.

We had a very good day talking with prospects and customers and even the media. Our dear friend Dave Andrews publisher and editor of Cheif Supply Chain Officer and Supply Chain Manufacturing and Logistics, stopped by to see a demo of our latest LPS 8.4 to see how those readers are working and of course interview Dana Anderson, our president and CTO.

The day wrapped up around 4PM but the hall started to get really thin around 2:30pm today, perhaps it had to do with the fact that it was 89 degrees and sunny with a golf course within walking distance - just a guess.

Loftware's next show will be in the fall at EPC Global (in LA) and Oracle Open World (in San Francisco) both events are held in October.
