Day 2 of RFID World 2006

The first full day of the show has come and gone, what a day! We started the day video taping our new demo on the show floor, with Dale Casper from BCVA. We are taping elements of the demo to put into a video for our website to show our customers and prospects different use-cases for implementing RFID within your warehouse environment.
The show was very busy with a lot more end-users this year than there was last year. The floor was booked with exhibitors as well, in fact it was sold out this year.
Loftware signed up for next year's show which has already doubled in size, we are very happy with the results so far.
We have talked with many, many end-users, of which a lot are already using some form of Loftware and are looking to upgrade to RFID, which is a great compliment to us, we look forward to helping them grow into this new technology, its a natural extension.
Dana and myself had meetings with 8 different editors today, getting them up to speed on our latest product launch for Loftware 8.4.
The buzz for the show this year is ROI. Last year it was where to place the tags to get a good read rate, this year, companies are taking their time and researching how they will see the benefit financially over the next few years prior to implementing an RFID roll-out within their supply chain.
Well Wednesday is the last day of the show, I am sure there will be a lot of aching feet, but a great sence of accomplishment. At the Gaylord the grounds are beautiful and the weather is above average this week, with the temperature in the high 70's and rumors of the weather being in the high 80's tomorrow with winds coming up from Mexico .... can't I just set the booth up at the pool today!! - Stephanie
