Big Blue + A Little Glue = RFID Glee on Stockholm's Congested Highways


In Stockholm, car owners are being encouraged to glue a RFID... transponder onto the inside of the windshield. When drivers enter or leave the city, electronic register stations along the road pick up radio signals from the transponder, and a central computer system charges the car owner's bank account.

I don't know how fascinating this story is, but it gave me an excuse to run this snapshot of Stockholm and its sailboat-filled harbor, ya?
