Know Eric Gabrielson? Here's why you might want to...

Eric Gabrielson is Director, Worldwide RFID Solutions, IBM. He and his fairly well-known little organization will have a lot to say and do with the implementation of RFID technology in the months and years ahead. IBM is a lot of things, but incapable isn't one of them.
So here's an article by Mr. Gabrielson about the here and now and the future of RFID. It's a little dumbed down I suppose for the average newcomer to this technology, but well-written and cogent nevertheless. I especially like his reference to RFID tags in chicken:

*We expect to see RFID used to make available information about perishable goods such as beef and chicken, including where it came from and temperature control during transit.
